Educate-Advocate-Elevate

This video is one of the most challenging projects that Argonaut Productions has worked on to date. The Jewish Women’s Foundation approached us about working on a video storytelling project during their first year in existence as a stand-alone foundation. As such, they needed to tell a story that communicated who they were, what they did, and the impact their work has.

Philanthropic foundations are typically a few degrees of separation apart from the human impact of their work. A foundation that embraces the challenges of serving women around the globe can find it difficult to distill their mission into a clear message that will resonate with audiences on an emotional level.

Argonaut Productions welcomed the challenge of a video storytelling project that would address the need to balance fundraising and awareness-raising. We knew that the key to creating lasting connections with the JWF’s audiences was in distilling the common “WHY” out of multiple messages. By aligning three separate but parallel narratives, we were able to show audiences the common core that drives all of JWF’s work.

To get the project done, we had to coordinate with local film crews across the country and around the globe. We had to ensure that each member of the team was focused on getting to the earnest, emotional, human elements of JWF’s impact. The video project does a great job of making a complex mission easy to understand and so compelling that audiences want to get involved.
